A UNESCO World Heritage seascape of karst towers, floating villages, and hidden lagoons, Halong Bay is the image most travellers carry of Vietnam before they arrive. The experience depends entirely on the boat: we contract day cruises with Old Quarter shuttle pickup as our dependable standard, and premium limousine-transfer options for clients who want a quieter, faster run to the wharf.
For couples and small groups, an overnight on Lan Ha Bay — Halong's less-trafficked sister — is the upgrade we recommend most often: sunset on deck, squid fishing after dinner, and kayaking before the day boats return.
Best time to visit: March–May and September–November for clear decks; summer brings heat and occasional storms.

Day cruises suit tight itineraries and families with young children; overnights suit couples and photographers. We'll advise per group.
Where does the shuttle pick up?
Standard shuttles collect from the Old Quarter hotel zone in Hanoi; other zones may need a private connection.
Is kayaking guaranteed?
It's weather- and route-dependent; when conditions close kayaking, bamboo-boat rides are usually substituted.
